Pool near Bedale

Swimming pool at a private house near Bedale, constructed in an existing garage and a new garage built alongside. It was a planning requirement that the extension be built into the hillside with the roof turfed over as the site is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in an area of special landscape value.

The poolside is sheltered from the weather (good and bad!) by a stone colonnade.
